Our training is designed to help pilots make the best possible
use of the latest weather information. We cover basic meteorological
theory - general circulation, air masses, fronts, and so on
- with an emphasis on practical case studies. Pilots are encouraged
to look at standard weather information, and learn how to
understand and interpret the finer points.
- Learn how to make more informed decisions on the best
options for safe flying, both at the planning stage and
in the air
- See aviation forecasts being created, the tools that forecasters
use, and any problems encountered
- Question forecasters and instructors on any topics of
meteorology that you may be unsure of
